Testimonials from previous years...
Allen High School FCA
"The entire FCA group cooked/served breakfast, pancakes, bagels, donuts, fruit, juice to our HS staff of 300+ as a way to tell them THANKS and MERRY CHRISTMAS! Several of our guy huddle leaders cleaned out their closets last week and donated shoes and shirts and jeans for a family at AHS that has 4 boys and no clothes."

"We did an FCA dodgeball night and had 60 students show up. The students donated money at the dodgeball tournament for an angel tree family. We were able to raise $250 to get clothes and toys for a family in need."
Rockwall HS FCA huddle held a bake sale to raise money for those in need for the holiday season. "From donations and the bake sale, we raised $1000 to go shopping with. We went shopping at Walmart to buy clothes, jewelry, electronics, and sports equipment for teens in need for Christmas. The gifts were then taken to a church in Mesquite where families will be able to come pick out gifts for their children."

Schrade Middle School FCA has been sponsoring Operation Christmas Child for about 8 years in a row. "This year we collected 93 Christmas gift boxes. It is a joint project with Student Council and National Junior Honor Society. It is a great chance to share with the entire school about the hope given to children around the world through the power of a simple gift".
Frisco Heritage HS FCA helped put boxes of food and toys together for families for Christmas through the Frisco Reach Out Program at the Word Center Church in downtown Frisco.
Garland HS FCA huddle collected money to buy turkeys and then give them to the First Baptist Church's Friendship House. In addition, they bought gifts for two senior citizen angels off the Angel Tree.
Centennial FCA decided to sponsor three “angels” this year. The “angels” are students within Frisco ISD whose parents cannot afford to provide Christmas presents for them this year. "We got all of the wants and needs for all three of our angels covered including an Ipod, soccer cleats, a nice HEAD tennis racket, and lots of clothes. We also found out that one of the English teacher’s angels needed a bed and bedding. Her classes did not raise enough for this big item so our FCA students and parents were able to save up enough for a twin bed, mattress, and bedding for this student to have a place to sleep over the holidays."

"Some of the service projects we have done are Soles for Orphans, Food for the community pantry, provide turkeys for needy families in our school community, ring bells for Salvation Army."
Pike Middle School FCA
"We do a coat drive each year during Christmas. We take the items collected to the shelter in Ft. Worth. We also do a personal care drive for the homeless in Denton."
Highland Park High School FCA
Over 50 students spent a day in December with the Dallas Metro Project serving an underprivileged community in Dallas. They passed out flyers and had hundreds show up for a Christmas presentation that included hearing about the birth of Jesus. Stockings were given out to the children and families were given bags of groceries to take home.
