FCA Values at Work
"Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence." This statement defines The FCA Values and this past weekend we had another chance to see them lived out.
On Saturday, March 19th, FCA Gives Back had some of our staff and board members partnering with Rock Bottom Outreach to volunteer at Beautiful Feet, a homeless ministry in Ft. Worth. We got to serve meals and visit with some great people. We also had a chance to sort donated clothing and sit in on an awesome service led by Rick Smith of Rock Bottom Outreach who shared his incredible testimony.
We thank God for the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful program that is helping so many.
On Sunday, the Allen Americans hosted a Faith & Family Night. After the game Gary Steffes, Team Captain for the Americans and Director of Campus Ministry for FCA Hockey, shared his testimony and his desire to strive for Authenticity and Excellence on the ice and in life. He encouraged the crowd, especially the young athletes who were there, with these words: "Be you." He explained that God has a plan for all of us and we need to be who He made us to be so that we can fulfill that plan.
Thanks to everyone who gave of your time this weekend. Your "Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence" made a difference!
